I have just a few things to say. I've wanted to write this journal for a little while now & never got around to it.
first, there's the irritating Sasuke pairings. I'm going to first off say that I'm an loyal, avid, SasuSaku shipper. now, even if you don't like SasuSaku, there are some pairings that are just ridiculous & freaking annoying. the pairing that even makes second most sense would at least be SasuKarin.(even though I'm a major SuiKa shipper) I could even see why people like SasuNaru(even though I find it a little creepy, & no, I don't have anything against gays, I have friends who are gay) because of their close friendship/bond. that being said, there are pairings like SasuHina, SasuGaara, Sasuke x Mei Terumi, SasuSai, even SasuIno.(there's more than those, those are just some examples)  As far as Sasuke & Hinata, Sasuke, if he does at all, barely knows Hinata exists, and Hinata would be completely scared out of her mind of Sasuke. it's just stupid. Sasuke and Gaara, people just pair them up because they saw and respected each other's power, and fought each other in the chunin exams, and again at Five Kage Summit, and Gaara sympathized with him. that doesn't mean they are a couple, or that they love each other! Sasuke & Mei, that is just absolutely ridiculous. the only reason people pair them up because she commented about his looks. that doesn't mean she wants to be with him romantically, of just means that she is stating an observation, a true one, that he is nice looking, because he is. she's the freaking Mizukage! she's not going to be with him. she was willing to kill him as part of her duty. Sasuke, and Sai, people just pair them up because they hate each other, and people automatically assume that just because 2 characters hate each other, that it is a love/hate relationship. it's not, okay?! sometimes(or many times), 2 characters just hate each other! Sasuke & Ino, it was always a one sided thing. Ino always liked Sasuke, but never was there any sign of Sasuke caring for her, even as a friend, much less as a love interest. He barely even notices her. so, that's just ridiculous.
then, there's the Sakura haters, and the ridiculous Sakura pairings. Samurai haters just annoy me to no end!>( the only reason people hate Sakura is because she's a threat, actually having a chance at having Sasuke. they only don't like her because they are fangirls who want Sasuke for themselves &/or their oc, or they are SasuIno or SasuKarin shippers. then, there's the ridiculous Sakura pairings. as I said, I'm a major SasuSaku shipper. the second closest couple would be SakuSai. it seems they care for each other, he seems to especially care for her. also, he read in the book that you should call people opposite of what they are, so when he called Sakura a hag, he actually thought she was pretty, & when he called Ino beautiful, he actually thought she was ugly.(I hate when people always say that he likes Ino because he said that she was beautiful, because that's not really what he was thinking)  I can see SakuIno, because they are best friends & have always been close since they were kids. people pair Sakura up with every person she is even somewhat friends with, like SakuHina, SakuGaara, etc. just because she is friends with them, does not mean that she wants to be with them, it just means that she's their friend. then, there's NaruSaku, which just annoys the shit out of me. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY CLOSE FRIENDS, DOES NOT MEAN THEY WANT TO BE WITH EACH OTHER! Naruto likes her & has for a long time, but it's one sided. Sakura thinks of him as a brother or a best friend.
then, there's KibaHina. people only pair them up because 1)they pair Hinata up with pretty much everybody & 2)they're teammates, and people automatically always pair teammates up together. I see Kiba's & Hinata's relationship more like a brother & sister relationship, definitely not a romantic one. Kiba treats her like a little sister, definitely not as a romantic interest. I'm a KibaTema shipper. I think that given their personalities, they would go well together, and they look great together, too. also, both Kiba & Temari are pretty versatile characters. Kiba is not really associated/linked with any people in particular, and Temari could be with almost anybody in the Leaf Village. I can see Hinata & Shino as a pairing. for some reason, it just seems like they could kind of go together kind of well.
then, there's the ones where they pair relatives up, like Sasuke x Itachi, Neji x Hinata, Hinata x Hanabi, etc. I shouldn't even have to say anything about that. it's just sick & gross.
then, there's the ridiculous Akatsuki pairings. people pair the Akatsuki up with any other Akatsuki members. just because they are in the Akatsuki doesn't mean they are together, just because they are partners in the Akatsuki doesn't mean they are together, and just because they are in the Akatsuki, and are friends, does not mean they are together! &, I'll say scan, just because 2 characters hate each other, does not mean they are together! I have ocs that are together with some of the Akatsuki. the only canon x canon pairing that actually has anything to it (& a pretty obvious one at that) is Pain x Konan.
then, people pair any two characters who are close friends up together. I'll say again, JUST BECAUSE 2 CHARACTERS ARE CLOSE FRIENDS DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE TOGETHER!
then, there's the fact that it seems that all I ever seem anymore, or mostly, anyway, is same gender pairings. I don't have anything against them, bit it seems like I never see characters of different genders anymore. &, also, the pairings that don't have anything to them, like 2 people that never even met, or have only met once, or just fought once or something.
also, I really get annoyed by the people who hate ocs that are related to canon characters in the series & the people that hate ocs that are paired with canon characters, or people that hate ocs in general! there is nothing wrong with ocs of any kind. that is people trying their best to show creativity, & it's not right for people to hate on it. there's nothing wrong with an oc being paired with a canon character, and there is nothing wrong with an of being related to a canon character. I think the whole concept of ocs being 'Mary Sues' is ridiculous, too. people just like to have a reason to criticize.(most of the time)
