Someone just criticized me for the fact that we had to get my dog put to sleep. The dog tried to attack my dad & my sister. I couldn't take the chance that she would seriously hurt one of them or even kill them. Someone said that there are other alternatives & that with time & love she could be helped. We couldn't risk my dad or sister being hurt. I'm sorry. Did I do something horrible? I don't think I did. It was just something that had to be done. We don't know the dog's history & without knowing that there's really no way we could've helped her. She had anxiety issues, so we wouldn't even have been able to handle it as with a normal dog. I don't know what else we could've done. I was just getting over this & now someone had to go & dredge it all up again.
